Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Wish you were here is one of the most requested songs to learn by guitar students everywhere. It was recorded in 1975 by famous progressive rock band, Pink Floyd. The recognizable riff that runs throughout the song came from David Gilmour while rehearsing at the famous London recording studio, Abbey Road. Roger Walters was impressed when he first heard the riff and decided to put some lyrics to it that he had been working on. Join with Mark as he teaches the strumming, picking and lead Solo parts of this song. A great first lead guitar solo for the beginner guitarist which will be sure to encourage the intermediate/advanced guitarist from just strumming chords and working on accuracy when picking single notes and strings. Running time: 32:42 minutes
